A well overdue review! This place is the BOMB. My family come here on rotation every few weeks. The food is ALWAYS fabulous, with a young team who are just lovely. Service is consistently great, informal, gentle and with loads of personality. Denise is the heart and soul of Piknik, she is 100% gold. Piknik also has a great service offer of wines, homemade cakes, preserves, breads and great coffee. An eclectic setting wraps it up into a beautiful bow. Long may they reign on Swan Bay rd x

A beautiful rustic venue where you can watch the world go by. Friendly attentive staff and lovely range of meals available. Daughter and I enjoyed a quiet breakfast here of spicy scrambled and bacon whilst she had butterscotch French crepes. All well prepared and have earmarked some other menu items for our next visit. Would recommend.

Stopped in at this old servo for lunch PIKNIK came highly recommended and it was easy to see why. Excellent food, friendly service and a great selection of wines. Grabbed loaf of beautiful bread while we were there.

Fabulous rustic old servo now doing casual dining. Seasonal simple but beautifully executed food, friendly helpful staff. Bread and cakes made in site. Outdoor covered area with sun streaming in or heat from fireplace is perfect year round Beautiful wine and relishes etc available to purchase. Plenty to love about this one. One of our favourite locals.

Piknik is right up there in my favourite ever cafes on the Bellarine, having lived almost 3 decades in this wonderful part of the world. Super cosy vibes and wonderful rain, hail or shine with the enclosed front area and its open fire being the pick of the places to sit. Their menu is simple and effective – I don't think it's changed much in years but that is for good reason as it is so damn tasty, whether it's savoury or sweet that you're after. They also do great takeaway coffees and as the only option on Queenscliff Road they have a monopoly on that service! I only wish they were open more days of the week. Keep up the good work.

Piknik is the best cafe in the entire area, without a doubt beating out all the competitors. The Salmon special is one the most tasty dishes I've ever had, the citrus yoghurt coating with honey and lemon pairs perfectly with the mint and other herbs bringing the rice to life and leaving you scraping the plate for everything and taking another bite before you can even swallow. The busy atmosphere during the holiday periods makes you happy to know a place as remote as it is gets nice and busy with such excellent service especially from the one named Belle. I will without a doubt be returning with more customers to come along to share the experience. And be sure to leave with a croissant from the freshly baked pastry area.

Delicious food, one of the best coffees in the area. I am not a big fan if tofu but the scrambled tofu was to die for! Definitely recommend.

A great place with excellent food that is not the standard run of the mill fare. Well priced and great service. Friendly and welcoming
